Kenwood CR-D3-L Review
The points I like about this device are: 1) The FM wire antenna works better than the more typical rod type so I can better receive FM radio stations. 2) It looks quite nice - the dark blue and grey with rounded sides and the front tilted slightly up. 3) The back light for the LCD screen can be dimmed or turned off, which is greatly appreciated. 4) You can play mp3 files via a USB memory stick. It's not very powerful (1.6W per channel) but the sound is clear and it works great in an apartment where you don't want to disturb the neighbors! Generally I like function over form, but in this case, I quite like the form! One caution: When inserting a CD, be sure to put the upper part of the disc under the front cover! The front cover appears to completely expose the disc area when open, but actually if you put the disc straight in, the top part may hit the bottom of the front lid and although you can push the disc partway onto the spindle, when you go...
